Each year our students surpass the academic standards but
we questioned whether we were fostering good people. We believe that
true character education program entails living the virtues every day,
praising children and their parents for their character and developing a
school-wide character education program involving students, teachers,
principal, auxiliary personnel, parents and community
partners.
We began our mission
to develop character by working with our student's parents in a homework
program designed to create a platform for parents to talk to their
children about values. These activities exposed each family's individual
values and personal feelings.
